The YMCA, Always Here for our Community

Get Creative With Nature

Arts Week

When: October 2-8

Celebrated every October during National Arts and Humanities Month, The Y's Arts Week is a week-long event showcasing the unique and diverse talents of artists through various forms of expression.

Our surroundings can impact our emotions, health, and well-being. Discover the restorative power of nature! Y Arts Week 2017 will provide opportunities to get outside and appreciate the beauty of our natural world, learn about local habitats, nature-inspired art projects, and more.

In YMCA arts programming, individuals and families are brought together to explore various genres of art. Not only do families learn together, they begin to develop traditions of activities such as music, painting, or photography that can be passed down for generations.
