Housekeeping Part-Time

Dahl Family YMCA in La Crosse (two openings)

  • Monday-Friday 8 a.m. -12 p.m. (1 male)
  • Monday-Friday 4 p.m. -8 a.m. (1 female)
 

R.W Houser Family YMCA in Onalaska (two openings)

  • Monday-Friday 8 a.m. -12 p.m. (1 female)
  • Monday-Friday 8 a.m. -12 p.m. (1 male)

 

Job Duties:

  • Light cleaning of the facility including sweeping, cleaning lobby and other areas of the facility as needed
  • Washing and drying towels as needed and making sure towels are provided to the necessary areas of the facility
  • Program set up and take down as needed for programs and special events
  • Emergency cleanup such as bodily fluids
  • Operates related motorized and non-motorized equipment
 

Key Qualifications:

  • Possess a positive attitude and good communication skills
  • Must be a team player, professional, and reliable
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Knowledge of operating cleaning equipment, cleaning and sanitation products

Parkour Instructors: Part-Time Positions 

The La Crosse Area Family YMCA is looking for 3-4 Parkour Coaches to plan, spot, and teach parkour classes ranging from beginner through advanced.

These are part-time hourly positions working 1-6 days per week with varying hours to include some nights and weekends. We offer a free adult Y membership for employees who at least 6 hours per week.

Help make a difference to our members and our internal employees as our Business Office Assistant in our Business Office at our Dahl branch in La Crosse.

This position reports to the Business Services Manager. It is a part-time position working 20-25 hours per week. Free adult YMCA membership included. 

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Daily courier runs between Y Branches
  • Organizational purchasing
  • Counting daily cash bags and preparing bank deposits
  • Reconciling credit card accounts
  • Prepare outgoing mail and distribute incoming mail
 

Key Qualifications: 

  • Associates degree in accounting, business, finance or a related field or one-two years of experience in accounting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
