Healthy Kids Day



Get active, eat healthy and learn about the environment at Healthy Kids Day & the Earth Day Dash event as part of the La Crosse Earth Fair in Myrick Park


This free event allows children and parents to participate in a day of activities designed to teach them how to live a healthier lifestyle and create a sustainable community.


Date: Sunday, April 30, 2017

Location: Myrick Park and the EcoPark

Time: 10:30 to 12:00 PM - Earth Day Dash

Kids can run the Dash anytime between this time period

11:00 to 3:30 PM - Healthy Kids Day Activities 



The Earth Day Dash will begin at 10:30 AM with children starting 30 seconds apart (young ones can go with a parent through the race). There will be 6 stations to be complete, with each station requiring participation before continuing on to the next station. Children can complete the race anytime from 10:30am-12:00 pm



Pre-registration is now closed. Registration will be available at the event on Sunday beginning at 10:15 am.

Be sure to check out the YMCA children's tent located across from the Gun Club Shelter. The tent will have fun & interactive activities for children with a focus on living a healthy lifestyle and caring for the environment. The activities will run from 11:00-3:30 pm

Parking/Shuttle To Park

Parking will be available at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse at lots C-7 and C-12. A shuttle will be running between the parking lots and Myrick Park between the hours of 8:00am-5:30 pm



We are looking for supportive & and fun volunteers to help throughout the day. Volunteers will interact with children and help lead the kid's activities and booths. You can volunteer individually or as a group.
