THINGS TO KNOW

Hours: 6:30am-6:00pm

In partnership with the local school districts, the Y School Age Care Programming will offer breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks to participants at all locations through June 30, 2021.  Federal funding changes may affect what meals can be provided at certain locations beginning July 1, 2021.  All changes will be communicated when they are available.

Outdoor activities happen 2-3 times a day as weather permits. Children are divided and grouped by age and interest to best meet the needs of all.

The Y always makes safety our priority. All School Age Care programming operates to meet/exceed the WI DCF licensing requirements, DHS & La Crosse County Health Department guidelines, and in cooperation with local school district protocols. Regardless of statewide mandates, School Age Care programming will follow licensing guidelines that require

  • A face covering/mask without a vent that covers the nose and mouth, and stays in place without being held by the individual, unless otherwise indicated by a medical professional
  • All staff and children in programming will practice physical distancing of 6-feet
  • Frequent and regular handwashing and disinfecting of shared/high-touch areas will be practiced

NO-AD 30SPF sunscreen is provided for all participants and is applied prior to all outdoor activities and reapplied according to product instructions.

  • All staff and children in programming will practice physical distancing of 6-feet
  • Frequent and regular handwashing and disinfecting of shared/high-touch areas will be practiced
